Your Website Should Make It Easier to Choose You
Web Design & Redesign for Small Businesses
If customers cannot tell what you offer, why it matters, or what to do next, a good-looking website is only doing part of its job. Syllable brings the message, design, and functionality together so your site can do useful work for your business.
Good Work Can Get Lost on a Website
The first step is figuring out where the site falls short. A redesign should have a reason beyond being ready for something different.
People Don't Understand the Offer
Your services make sense when you explain them in person. We help bring that clarity to the page, with language organized around customer questions and decisions.
The Site No Longer Fits the Business
You have grown, changed direction, or improved your work. The website still represents an earlier version of the business. Its structure and presentation need to catch up.
Taking the Next Step Is Hard
A confusing form, awkward mobile layout, or buried contact detail can interrupt a good inquiry. We look at the full path from first impression to action.
A Website Built Around What It Needs to Do
Scope follows your customers, your content, and the job the website has to perform.
Clearer Language
Explain the problems you solve, answer the questions people ask, and make the value of your work easier to understand.
Useful Page Structure
Give each audience a sensible route through services, proof, practical details, and a clear next step.
Design That Fits
Bring typography, imagery, spacing, and your brand together into a site that feels considered and works on smaller screens.
WordPress You Can Use
Build editable pages with a manageable set of tools, so ordinary content changes do not require rebuilding the site.
Forms, Booking, and Commerce
Make inquiries, appointments, purchases, or memberships part of the plan when those functions serve the business.
A Sound Launch
Include the agreed SEO foundations, important redirects, form testing, analytics setup, and a practical handoff.
Start with What Customers Need
We work from the purpose of the site toward the pages and features it needs.
Review and Prioritize
Look at the existing site, your best customers, and the actions that matter. Decide what to retain, rewrite, repair, or rebuild.
Shape the Message and Design
Plan the key pages and develop the content and visual direction together. Each section should help someone understand or decide something.
Build, Check, and Hand Over
Test the agreed journeys on desktop and mobile, work through launch details, and show you how to manage the finished site.
A Design Partner Can Be Part of the Process
For Hey Handyman and GS Concrete Pros, Syllable worked with a brand designer to rebuild the websites around an attractive, informative experience. If you already have a designer, brand, or creative direction, we can work with it.
Before We Redesign Anything
Do we need to start over?
Maybe. We assess the foundation first. Strong design with weak content may need a messaging pass. A few awkward interactions may need targeted repairs. A rebuild makes sense when the existing site is getting in the way of useful improvements.
Can you help write the content?
Yes. Writing and development are both part of Syllable's work. We can work from your existing material, develop new copy with your input, or build around content you provide.
What should we budget?
The Pricing page currently starts essential business sites at $1,500 and ecommerce or membership sites at $3,000. Those are starting points. Content, integrations, migration, and complexity determine the proposal.
Who owns the finished site?
You own the site, content, and business accounts created for the project. Third-party software and licensed assets have their own terms. Hosting, domains, and recurring licenses are identified in the proposal.
