Your Website Shouldn't Be Another Thing to Worry About

WordPress Maintenance & Website Support

Updates pile up. A form stops working. A small change sits on the list because nobody wants to break something. Syllable helps keep the website useful and gives you someone to turn to when it needs attention.

Small Website Problems Rarely Stay Small Forever

Care should match the role the site plays in your business, from a simple brochure site to an active store or custom system.

Maintenance Keeps Getting Put Off

You know the software needs attention, but updates can feel like a gamble. A regular maintenance process makes the work more deliberate and easier to keep up with.

Nobody Checks the Important Parts

The site loads, but that does not prove the inquiry form, checkout, or key workflow works. Checks should focus on the functions the business depends on.

Every Change Becomes a Separate Project

You need a page updated, an issue investigated, or a feature improved. An ongoing relationship gives that work context and a clearer route from request to resolution.

Choose the Level of Help the Site Needs

The published care plans are starting points. We confirm the site condition, included work, and support expectations before beginning.

Software Upkeep

Maintain WordPress, themes, and plugins, with an approach appropriate to the risk and complexity of the site.

Backups and Recovery

Manage the agreed backups and establish a practical recovery path when an update or other problem affects the site.

Security and Uptime Checks

Keep an eye on the agreed signals and investigate issues within the scope of the plan.

Forms and Key Journeys

Include form checks and other agreed functional reviews at the right care level, so the important paths receive attention.

Content and Small Changes

Keep everyday information current through the routine content work included in the chosen plan.

Continued Development

For sites that keep evolving, arrange ongoing capacity for integrations, workflow improvements, and more substantial changes.

A Clear Starting Point Makes Better Support

Before taking responsibility for a website, we need to understand how it runs and what you expect from it.

Review the Existing Site

Check the platform, hosting, licenses, custom code, backups, and known issues. Identify work needed before routine care can begin.

Agree on the Plan

Define the included checks and changes, communication process, support expectations, and how work outside the plan is handled.

Maintain and Improve

Carry out the agreed care, address issues as they arise, and discuss useful improvements as the website and business change.

From Basic Upkeep to an Embedded Partner

Current starting plans are Essential Care at $50 per month and Active Care at $150 per month. Essential covers updates, managed backups, security and uptime checks, and basic recovery support. Active adds routine content changes, priority support, form checks, and periodic performance review. Embedded Partner work is scoped around ongoing development and operational needs.

Know What Care Includes

Can you maintain a site you did not build?

Yes, subject to an initial review. Existing problems, unsupported software, or custom code may need separate work before the site is suitable for a recurring care plan.

Are hosting and software licenses included?

Usually they are separate recurring costs. If Syllable manages any of them for you, the proposal will identify what is included, who owns the accounts, and how renewals are handled.

Is support unlimited or available around the clock?

The plan defines included work, response expectations, and scheduling. Priority support does not automatically mean unlimited development or 24/7 coverage. Those expectations should be agreed explicitly.

What if the site already has an urgent problem?

Tell us what is happening and which business functions are affected. We will assess availability and the work involved before committing to a response or recovery timeline. Existing repairs may be scoped separately from ongoing care.
