Your Tools Should Talk to Each Other
WordPress Development & API Integrations
Orders in one place. Customer details in another. A spreadsheet holding the whole thing together. Syllable builds the missing connections and custom functionality that help your website work as part of your business.
Where Standard Features Stop, Workarounds Start
Sometimes the tools are right but the connections are missing. Sometimes a small custom feature would remove a large amount of frustration.
Someone Has Become the Integration
Your staff moves information between systems because nothing else does. We look for a reliable way to connect the handoff and make its status visible.
The Plugin Almost Does the Job
The standard feature covers most of the process, but the last part still needs a workaround. A focused extension can sometimes fill the gap without replacing the platform.
Nobody Knows Why It Broke
A custom feature fails intermittently or an external connection quietly stops. We trace the actual behavior before proposing changes, including the paths that do not show up in a simple demo.
Build the Missing Part of the Process
An API is the interface one system uses to exchange information with another. The useful work is deciding what should move, when it should move, and how to handle the exceptions.
Connect Business Systems
Link your website with a CRM, scheduling platform, fulfillment service, or another system that offers suitable access.
Extend WooCommerce
Build around the way your orders, subscriptions, customer accounts, and staff workflows need to operate.
Create a Focused Plugin
Put a specific capability into maintainable WordPress code with settings and controls suited to the people who use it.
Give People a Useful Portal
Create appropriate access to the information and actions customers, dealers, or staff need, without giving everyone the keys to everything.
Turn a Calculation into a Tool
Build an estimator, quoting interface, or structured intake process around rules your business understands and can maintain.
Repair and Make Behavior Visible
Investigate an existing feature, address the cause, and add useful status or logging so the next problem is easier to understand.
The Happy Path Is Only Part of the Job
An integration needs to behave sensibly when information is late, an event repeats, or the other service is unavailable.
Trace the Real Workflow
Review the systems, available APIs, data ownership, and current behavior. Identify limitations before treating an integration as a straightforward connection.
Build and Test the Boundaries
Develop in an appropriate test environment and cover the agreed success, failure, retry, permission, and duplicate-event cases.
Put It into Operation
Plan the rollout, make important status visible, document the controls, and define who handles maintenance when the connected systems change.
Connections with a Real Job to Do
Syllable's work for Shameless Care includes API connections with medical and pharmaceutical partners and custom applications. The CSRA Paint Estimator includes a custom quoting interface, saved estimates, and editable cost settings. Impact API Connector brings conversion delivery, retries, and order-level status into WooCommerce.
Before We Connect Anything
Can you connect any two platforms?
Access matters. We need to check the available API, permissions, commercial plan, usage limits, and supported actions. Some connections are straightforward; others are limited or not practical. That is part of the initial investigation.
Can you fix code another developer wrote?
Yes, after reviewing the code and the way it is used. We distinguish a contained repair from work that needs a more substantial redesign and explain why before expanding the scope.
Will we need a custom plugin?
Only when the need justifies one. A supported existing tool may be enough. Custom development makes sense when the requirements, reliability, or long-term maintenance warrant it.
How do you price a system that does not exist yet?
We start by defining the problem, access, dependencies, and acceptance criteria. A discovery or prototype phase may be appropriate when important unknowns remain. Build work and ongoing third-party costs are identified separately.
