Scoped to the Work

Ongoing development capacity, workflow improvements, integrations, strategic support, and priority scheduling.

Final plan pricing depends on site complexity, update frequency, ecommerce activity, compliance needs, and response expectations.

The Modifiers

Price follows complexity, not page-count theater. These are the factors that move a project up or down.

Content & Page Structure

More audiences, services, and decision paths require more planning and production.

Commerce & Membership

Products, subscriptions, taxes, shipping, accounts, and permissions add operational complexity.

Integrations

CRMs, scheduling, payments, APIs, and external databases must be connected and tested responsibly.

Migration

Moving content, customers, orders, memberships, or SEO history requires careful handling.

Copy & Creative Assets

Existing polished content lowers cost. Writing, photography, and asset creation expand scope.

Timeline

Sensible schedules are efficient. Emergency timelines require reprioritization and may cost more.

Pricing Questions, Answered

How exact are these ranges?

They are planning ranges. After discovery, you receive a written proposal that defines scope, responsibilities, timeline, exclusions, and price before work begins.

Can we start smaller and expand later?

Yes. A focused first phase is often more responsible than paying for features your business is not ready to operate. The foundation should still be built so later phases do not require starting over.

Are hosting, domains, and premium licenses included?

Usually they are separate recurring costs, because you should own and understand those accounts. If Syllable manages a service for you, the proposal will say so explicitly.

Do you work with existing websites?

Yes. Some sites need a rebuild, some need targeted repair, and some should be left alone. We review the existing foundation before recommending the expensive option.

Do you offer payment schedules?

Larger projects are normally divided into documented milestones. The exact schedule is included in the proposal so both sides know what triggers each payment.

Will I own the finished website?

Yes. You own the site, content, and business accounts created for the project. Third-party software and licensed assets remain subject to their own license terms.
